Community Health & Nutrition
Promoting health and nutrition awareness in vulnerable communities
Expected Outcome
Winam Resilience Foundation implements integrated, multi-sectoral programs designed to strengthen household resilience and address the root causes of poverty across Homabay County and the Lake Region. Our programming focuses on livelihoods, health, water, sanitation and hygiene (WASH), and education-recognizing that sustainable development is achieved when social and economic systems work together.
WRF’s programs are intentionally designed to be integrated. Livelihoods strengthen health outcomes. Education reinforces economic stability. WASH restores dignity and reduces preventable disease.
This integrated model ensures that households are not supported in isolation, but strengthened holistically over time.
