Who we are
We are a Kenyan nonprofit focused on reducing poverty and vulnerability in Homa Bay County. Our work brings communities, government, development partners, the private sector, research institutions, schools and health facilities together around practical, participatory solutions.
A resilient, equitable and self-reliant Homa Bay County free from poverty and deprivation.
What we do
Our 2026–2031 strategy recognises that household challenges are interconnected—and effective solutions must be too.
Strengthening household incomes, enterprise, food security and access to dignified economic opportunities.
Advancing access to essential health, nutrition and community-based wellbeing services for vulnerable households.
Improving access to safe water, sanitation and practical hygiene solutions that protect health and dignity.
Expanding learning, practical skills and pathways that enable young people and adults to build better futures.
Our resilience pathway
We design programmes to move beyond short-term relief. The pathway connects urgent needs with stronger capabilities, wider opportunity and long-term self-reliance.
Partner with WRF
We welcome programme financing, multi-year strategic partnerships, technical and knowledge exchange, market and technology partnerships, research and evaluation collaboration, and support for responsible institutional growth.
